Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has refined post-graduation work permit (PGWP) eligibility criteria, with renewed emphasis on field-of-study alignment with in-demand occupations.
Students enrolling in eligible college and university programs should confirm PGWP eligibility with their institution's international office before accepting an offer, as designated learning institution (DLI) status alone no longer guarantees eligibility.
